Well, hello, fellow Carepass enthusiasts!
We know it’s been a while since we last shared an update here, and we’re sorry about that. The truth is, we’ve been pretty busy working on something big – and we are ecstatic that we can finally tell you about it!
This past weekend, version 2.0 of Carepass went live for iPhone and Android devices, marking a major turning point for Carepass and our customers. You can read the official press release here but, in short, with this latest product update, we have expanded our service beyond short-term care to now offer in-depth information about preschools’ full-time enrollment programs (think, tuition information, curricula, accreditations, languages, extra-curriculars, and much more!). That means that, whether you’re looking to book a short-term visit lasting a few days OR are on the hunt for the perfect preschool to enroll your child in full-time, the Carepass app can help.
Our rationale for this expansion was simple: after personally speaking with hundreds of families and preschool owners and directors, we learned that there is still a significant disconnect (and pain point) when it comes to accessing important, basic information about early education options. And, as it turns out, we realized that our team and our app were perfectly suited to help address that pain point. Fast forward a few months and, today, in the ten seconds it takes to download Carepass 2.0, families can save hours or even days on the Internet, calling schools, scheduling tours, and getting referrals.
Here’s an overview of what’s new in Carepass 2.0:
- Expanded care provider profiles, now featuring enrollment status, curriculum, memberships, dietary information, languages spoken and more!);
- Detailed tuition schedules outlining pricing by program and age group;
- “Request Tour” button to expedite tour scheduling;
- “Abridged” provider profiles on over 10,000 DCF-registered Florida preschools;
- Streamlined navigation;
- Major performance improvements to keyword and map search; and
- The unceremonious squashing of a few pesky bugs.
